
Rebekah Dunnahoe was born and raised in South Louisiana and currently resides in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Rebekah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She received her Bachelors and Masters from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Rebekah’s passions are spending time with her husband and child, cooking, and working out. She believes physical and mental health go hand-in-hand and loves to live a healthy lifestyle.
Rebekah has experience working with a variety of populations including children, adolescents, and adults in inpatient, intensive outpatient, and private practice settings. She has worked with clients within the realm of behavioral issues, parenting help, emotional regulation, coping skills, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, mood disorders, and substance use.
Rebekah believes in meeting every client where they are at in their journey and aims to cultivate a warm and accepting space to help each client feel heard and understood. Rebekah uses an integrative approach that incorporates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, and Child Centered Play Therapy to meet the needs of every client. Play Therapy is a passion of hers, and she loves to incorporate creative interventions with clients of every age. She is currently working towards her Registered Play Therapy certification.
